Who I Am
Hi! My name is Charlotte and I live in New York! I was four years old when I found out that I had amblyopia in my right eye. I was the first member of my family to receive this diagnosis, creating a learning curve for us all to tackle together.
My Favorite Patch
From then on, until my treatment ended when I was nine years old, I opted to wear my favorite patch. It was lavender and white with a huge butterfly in the center — which explains the color scheme for this website!
Why I Built This
My goal is to provide a fun, safe, and supportive space where kids can spend their time while patching. From personal experience, I understand the hurdles and obstacles that come with having a lazy eye, so it is my hope that I can help kids feel confident while wearing their patch!
